GRCCO is always looking for new people who are interested in
golden retrievers. Our objectives are to educate the public about the breed, protect
and advance the interest of goldens and to have fun and to socialize with other golden
enthusiast.

The Golden Retriever Club of Columbus, Ohio, Inc. (GRCCO) was formed to:
A REGULAR MEMBERSHIP, Family or Single, is available.
-- BACK TO THE TOP --Membership in GRCCO, is open to all persons 18 years of age and older who are in good
standing with the American Kennel Club.
Persons do not need to be members of the AKC or have AKC registered Golden Retrievers to
become a member of GRCCO.
Membership in the GRCA is not required, but encouraged.
An applicant to GRCCO must attend 3 meetings to fulfill application procedures.
-- BACK TO THE TOP --Meeting 1 - The applicant may take this application pamphlet and fill it out at their leisure.
Meeting 2 - The applicant must return the completed application to the membership chairperson. At that time, an informal interview with the applicant will be held by the membership chairperson and one GRCCO Board member.
Meeting 3 - During the "members only" portion of the meeting, the application will be discussed and voted on by the general membership in attendance.
Regular memberships are $25 for a family or $20 for a single membership. By the close of the applicant’s 3rd meeting, the newly elected member must pay the dues for the appropriate membership type to the treasurer. All further annual dues will be payable on or before the 1st of January of each year. Dues are not prorated for partial years.
Each member of GRCCO is bound to adhere to the Club’s code of ethics which defines:
Regular members are encouraged to attend all monthly general meetings. The Annual Meeting - The trustees and officers of GRCCO shall be elected in November. Each regular member is EXPECTED to attend and only regular members may hold an office and vote.
